Wheat Harvest 2013

We do not have very much wheat to run, ( only took us the afternoon) but it was so fun and pretty! I love wheat for a couple reasons,
#1. It looks so pretty as it ripens and waves in the breeze!
#2. It reminds me of Kansas, that is where some of our loved ones live! And we miss them!

Mama thinks its totally nasty, Sophia thinks its funny!

Last but not least... time with Grandma is time we treasure!

A song on my counter and in my heart

These thoughts have been running though my mind and heart this week. Thoughts of worshiping Christ all though the day and in every moment of my day! Maybe more so since the birth of our second child. It seems the last 3 weeks since she has arrived, well lets just say my eyes have been burning with the lack of sleep! (yawn) I am not complaining in the least, she is so precious and I value my time with her even if it is at ten, and two, and two-thirty, and four-thirty, and six and then finally I just stay up at seven-thirty! But I just get so tired all day and I don't feel like my mind is alive any more. Some days I can't even make a complete sentence make since! But still I can feel the Lord pulling me into a never ending time of worship with Him. Telling me that He and I are doing this day together, He is helping me get though each job and each time I discipline my toddler! He is always by my side! I may not have a moment to sit and study His Word, but if I can hum a song or just read the words, then I am in worship with Jesus! I am thinking on thoughts of Heaven and then my earthly problems don't seem so major! When I feel the lack of joy, and worship in my life I always wonder if my driveway is doing the praising of His holy name instead. For it says if we fail to praise Him, then the rocks will! (can't find the verse:( So my goal is to praise Him every moment!

Zoe Michal Kuntz

Our newest blessing... in the tiny perfect form of a baby daughter! Our precious Zoe, feels like she has been in our family forever! Big sister loves her and picks on her by pulling her toes and taking her paci! We are adjusting to the life of two beautiful girls! May the Lord give us the wisdom and strength to raise them for His glory!

Playdate with my best Friend!

Oh what a beautiful day yesterday was! The glorius sun was shining and a warm breeze blowing!
Spring reminds me of the hope we have in Christ and how in control he is!
Only him alone can bring forth new life after a winter of deadness and darkness!
We love to watch Conner and Sophia play together! They are the bestest of friends!

Happy Birthday to you!!!!!

Our Sophia is ONE!

Eating supper: Wet Burritos, Salad, Peas (for the little fingers)
and Chocolate Cake with Strawberry and Vanilla Ice Cream!

Went through my scraps of fabric and made my own streamers
So fun and very easy! Want to put them in Sophia's new room once
it gets painted! Hopefully before baby?!!!

My first attempt at a shaped cake. Was alot of fun,
but please dont look to close!
My Mom always did a fun cake for us, kinda want
to carry on the tradition:)

She is my kind girl! Eating the M&Ms off!

But eating your fruit before your chocolate cake with peanut butter
icing... that did not come from me!
She is such a good example!

My gifts!!!!

My first purse from Grandpa and Grandma Kuntz!
Totally loved it!
Guess I will have to finish my post later... not loading my picts!:(

ten months

Train up a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it! Prov. 22:6, And ye Fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Eph. 6:4
Our training has begun in full swing now! We have a crawler! It is such a joy to watch her grow and develop her very own God given personality! She makes us laugh daily at all her expressions!  She is learning that some cupboards are ok and some are not. That's its ok to pull her books off the shelf but not mama's. And pulling all the toilet paper off a brand new roll is not cool either! Oh, but hugging and kissing daddy when he comes home from work and cuddling with mama in the morning is totally ok and welcomed with loving hearts! We love you Sophia, and thank Jesus that he choose to spare your little life, may we receive the wisdom it takes to raise you for His kingdom!

Ps. I think I forgot to announce on my blog that Lord willing next May we will welcome baby number two! I am starting to feel better (not spending the day on the couch)!        So praise be to God!
Yesterday my sister, Sophia and I went to hear the heartbeat, which I LOVE and look forward to every month! Well we heard it a tiny bit! It was so active that we couldn't hear it very long! It made me laugh with joy that we have a healthy baby and can't wait to feel it move!

Handfuls of Purpose

A couple Sundays ago we heard this sermon, and I really really loved the thoughts!! Handfuls of Purpose... We read the story of Boaz and Ruth, and how he still let her work for her food but made her work easier by dropping extra handfuls! That is our purpose in life as followers of Jesus Christ. We are to help make the lives around us easier by helping, take food, babysitting, raking leaves, shopping, visiting, giving a smile or a hug, listening, sending a card, saying a good word about them, etc. How can you help make somebodies day today? Be a cheerful giver, a thankful giver, a loving giver, a passionate giver, be Jesus to someone today!
